Ngugi wa Thiong'o, novelist, theorist of post-colonial literature, and Distinguished Professor of the Departments of Comparative Literature and English at the University of California, Irvine, will deliver the Spring 2011 Lionel Trilling Seminar on "Globalectical Imagination: Reading the World in the Postcolonial." Responding will be Columbia Professors George Lewis and Elizabeth Povinelli.
