The theater and opera director, physician, and writer Jonathan Miller is one of the most diverse and creative sensibilities in the performing arts today. And that is because he is a deep and original thinker. He has written on subjects ranging from mind and body to atheism and disbelief, he has directed stage performances ranging from Shakespeare to Mozart, and he was a central presence in Beyond the Fringe. He will speak on all these themes when Colin McGinn, the philosopher, interviews him in front of a live audience at Columbia.
