Joseph E. Stiglitz, a Nobel laureate in economics, is Professor of Economics at Columbia University and was Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to President Clinton and Chief Economist and Senior Vice President at the World Bank.
Professor Stiglitz will present and discuss his recent attention-gathering article, "The True Costs of the Iraq War," which he co-authored with Linda Bilmes of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Jane Arraf, Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow, and former Senior Baghdad Correspondent for CNN, will respond.

Professor Rashid Khalidi, Edward Said Professor of Arab Studies, and Director of the Middle East Institute at Columbia University will moderate the discussion.
