  be hosting a kick off event for a series of Wikipedia Edit-
 a-thon's this fall semester. There will be a panel and Wikip
 edia Edit-a-thon at the Butler Library. Edit-a-thon’s pro
 vide ways of editing one of our world’s most accessible kn
 owledge systems through the creation of new pages\, the editi
 ng of existing pages\, or the translation of current pages in
 to more languages. Our vision is to introduce the skills\, ex
 pertise\, and enthusiasm of our community at Columbia Univers
 ity to public scholarship.
