Black Youth Project 100

Asha Rosa Ransby-Sporn is an undergraduate student at Columbia College studying in the Institute for Research in African American Studies. She is also an Organizer with Students Against Mass Incarceration and the Black Youth Project 100.

The Students Against Mass Incarceration (S.A.M.I) is a New Afrikan/Black student organization committed to dismantling the prison industrial complex and effectively putting a stop to mass incarceration.

Black Youth Project 100 (BYP 100) is an activist member-based organization of Black 18-35 year olds, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people. They do this through building a collective focused on transformative leadership development, non-violent direct action organizing, advocacy and education.
