Brad Inwood

Brad Inwood is a professor of Classics and Philosophy at Yale Univesity. He received his B.A. from Brock University and his Ph.D. from the University of Tornoto. He then worked for two semesters at the Classics Institute at Stanford University and then went to the University of Toronto where he was eventually appointed Canada Research Chair in Ancient Philosophy. 2004-2005 Inwood was a member of the Centre for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences. The Joint Program at Yale provides an exciting prospect for building his subject, ancient philosophy. His research is mostly in later Greek and Roman philosophy, Stoicism and most recently the Aristotelian tradition of moral philosophy, including his book, Ethics After Aristotle (Harvard University Press 2014).
