Emily Fuhrman

Emily Fuhrman is a data visualization designer and developer currently working at Two Sigma. Her expertise spans mapping, academic research, and the design and development of data-driven graphics. She has completed visualization projects for a range of clients, including Google, Viacom, the Ace Hotel, and the Columbia University Center for Spatial Research, while her interactive work has been acknowledged by WIRED, Scientific American, and the Columbia University Group for Experimental Methods in the Humanities.

She holds an M.A. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University (2016), an M.S. in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University (2014), and a B.A. in English and Philosophy from The College of William & Mary (2010). View her personal portfolio at emilyfuhrman.co.
