Gavin Steingo

Gavin Steingo specializes in African Music (particularly southern Africa); Music of the African Diaspora; Postcolonialism; Music, Labor, and Value; Music and Materiality; and Anthropology of the Senses. He was a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Music, Columbia University, and is the author of many papers and publications.
