Henri Cole

Henri Cole is a Creative Writing Professor at The Ohio State University. He is also the author of Pierce the Skin: Selected Poems 1982-2007, Blackbird and Wolf, Middle Earth (a finalist for the Pulitzer), The Visible Man, The Look of Things, The Zoo Wheel of Knowledge, and The Marble Queen, and Touch. His most reecent book, Nothing to Declare, was published by Farrar, Straus, and Giroux. He is the winner of the Lenore Marshall Poetry Award, the Ambassador Book Award in Poetry, the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Berlin Prize, the United States Artist Fellowship, the Rome Prize in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, among other prestigious awards. He has also published collections in Spanish, French, and Italian.
