Jason Pollard has been an editor of documentaries, short films, music videos and commercials for 8 years. He has edited numerous documentaries, commercials and music videos for over 10 years including: Pete Seeger: The Power of Song (The Weinstein Company/PBS), a documentary about the life of folk singer Pete Seeger, it was an official selection of the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival and was part of PBS' American Masters series. Sing Your Song (HBO), a documentary about singer/activist Harry Belafonte, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and has played at numerous festivalls worldwide including: Berlin, Tribeca, Vienna, BFI London, Mumbai, New Zealand, Durban, SXSW and the Hamptons. Slavery By Another Name, a documentary about the illegal enslavement of African-Americans in the South after the Emancipation Proclamation, which premiered at 2012 Sundance Film Festival and aired on PBS. 

Jason has a BA in Film/Television Production and MA in Cinema Studies from New York University.
