John Rockwell

Between 1972 and 2006, John Rockwell wrote for the New York Times as classical and contemporary critic, chief rock critic, classical music editor, European cultural correspondent , senior cultural correspondent, and cheif dance critic.  He foudned and directed the Lincoln Center Festival, and has authored several books, including Sinatra: An American Classic. Mr. Rockwell studied modern dance with Anna Halprin.
