Laurent Jeanpierre is university professor of Political Science at the Universite Paris 8. His areas of interest include sociology and political sociology of the transnational corporation, sociology and political sociology of intellectuals worlds, sociology of revolutions and political crises, as well as neoliberalism.

His most recent publication, "1968-1986: The "Conservative Revolution" of French Thought Proof Meetings Cerisy", was published the summer of 2013, and was written in conjunction with Laurent Martin. He is currently a researcher with Labtop, whose principle it is that policy analysis requires intersectionality between sociology, history, and philosophy.
