Meg Tyler

Associate Professor of Humanities, Boston College

Meg Tyler is Associate Professor of Humanities at Boston College. Her research interests are the history of lyric poetry, contemporary poetry, sonnets in English and German, poetry in translation, Irish literature, and intersections between art history and literature. She is the author of a chapbook of poems, Poor Earth (2014), and A Singing Contest: Conventions of Sound in the Poetry of Seamus Heaney (2005), and is the Chair of the Institute for the Study of Irish Culture.
