Alexander Nehamas is Professor of Humanities and of Comparative Literature. His interests include Greek philosophy, philosophy of art, European philosophy and literary theory.

Tom Paulin is G. M. Young Lecturer in English Literature at Hertford College, Oxford.  He is a poet and critic of film, music and literature.

Christopher Ricks is the William M. and Sara B. Warren Professor of the Humanities at Boston University, having formerly been professor of English at Bristol and at Cambridge

Amartya Sen is Thomas W. Lamont University Professor, and Professor of Economics and Philosophy, at Harvard University.

Rosanna Warren is an acclaimed poet, whose research interests include translation, literary biography, literature and the visual arts, and relations between classical and modern literature.

Hayden White is University Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Professor of Comparative Literature at Stanford University.

Sean Wilentz is a prominent historian, whose commentary on music, politics, and the arts has gained a wide reputation for its force, originality, and elegance.
