Julia Doe is an Assistant Professor of Historical Musicology in the Department of Music at Columbia. She is a scholar of eighteenth-century opera, with particular emphasis on the music, literature, and politics of the French Enlightenment. 

Eileen Gillooly, Adjunct Associate Professor of English and Comparative Literature and the Institute for Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality, is the Executive Director of the Heyman Center for the Humanities and Society of Fellows.

Professor Edwards specializes in African-American and African diasporic literature, 20th-century poetry, Francophone literature, translation theory and jazz.

Malgorzata Mazurek specializes in modern history of Poland and East Central Europe. Her interests include twentieth-century social sciences, international development, social history of communism and Polish-Jewish relations.
