Professor Mischel's research interests focus on personality structure, process, and development; and self regulation (aka willpower). He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Grawemeyer Award in Psychology (2011), the Doctor Philosophiae Honoris Causa, Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2010), the Scientific Honoree, Foundation for the Advancement of Behavioral and Brain Sciences (2009) among numerous others.
